Gieni AI is a B2B market intelligence platform that gives business users instant, structured answers about companies, industries, and markets — available both as a standalone dashboard and, later, as a live agent inside Microsoft 365 Copilot. Following the launch of Gieni's first dashboard, I led the research and redesign that became Gieni 2.0: rebuilding the core widget experience around real usage data, then extending that same product thinking into a native, live Copilot integration.

Designing from evidence, not assumption

Following the launch of Gieni's first dashboard, I ran a structured review of how the product was actually being used — tracking which widgets users opened most, where they spent time, and where engagement dropped off. I paired this with direct feedback from active users to understand why certain widgets underperformed. That research became the brief for Gieni 2.0: redesign the functionality and display structure of the widget system around what users actually needed.

Which allows your project pages to be highly adaptable.

Unlike traditional templates with rigid image slots, this system gives you complete freedom to present unlimited project images without modifying the template structure. Your portfolio adapts to your content rather than forcing your work to fit predetermined formats, ensuring your projects look professional across all devices.

From endless scroll to structured depth

The clearest example of this shift was the Company List widget. The original version presented company data as a dense, undifferentiated table — every field visible at once, no hierarchy, no way to focus on one company at a time. I redesigned it into a structured card system: selecting a company opens a focused overlay containing 11 distinct information pages — overview, contacts, technologies, materials, customers, industries, machine park, and more — replacing a flat data dump with a navigable, hierarchical view of the same information.

Designing the generated report

At the end of a Copilot query, users could request a full AI-generated report synthesizing the answer. I designed the visual structure and layout of this report, ensuring the same clarity and hierarchy from the dashboard carried through into a standalone, shareable document.
